2026 Circa Football Contest -- Official Rules
(1) Introduction
Because of the popularity of football,
especially the NFL, each football season many Sports Books in Las Vegas and throughout
Nevada offer weekly and/or season long football contests, often in an effort to attract
as much traffic into their casino and sports book as possible.
Some contests
are free. Some carry a modest price tag to enter ($25 to $250). Others are more of
the "high end" variety (such as the Westgate Las Vegas Super Contest and
Circa Survivor/Millions Contests) with entry fees of $1,500.oo and $1,000.oo respectively
-- and upwards (Westgate SuperContest Gold and SuperContest Survivor are each $5,000.oo).
These
contests offer prizes ranging upwards of seven figures ($1,000,000 or more) and some
pay up to 100 places.
Some contests offer weekly prizes of several thousand
dollars. Some contests offer season long prizes of $5,000 to $1,000,000 or more.
And some contests offer a combination of weekly and season long prizes.
The
majority of the low end entry fee contests involve picking the straight up winners
of NFL games (usually just the Sunday and Monday games) although a pair of the higher
end Survivor contests have entry fees as high as $100,000!
A few contests
-- mainly those that carry entry fees of $500 or more -- involve picking winners
against the pointspread. Some contests have involved just college football or a combination
of NFL and College Football with many of those contests designed for Las Vegas "locals"
and are often sponsored by local bars and restaurants.
Contests are available
for virtually every budget and for fans with varying degrees of knowledge and interest
in football -- college and/or NFL, Sides and/or Totals.
These contests have
become increasingly popular with residents and seasonal visitors to Las Vegas and
Nevada and, over the past decade, those who live outside the state of Nevada.
Virtually
every contest requires the contestant to enter IN PERSON in Las Vegas.
BUT
....
There are ways for non-residents and occasional visitors to participate
in some of these contests -- BY UTILIZING THE SERVICES OF A PROXY who is in Las Vegas
(or elsewhere in Nevada) and can enter your selections on your behalf.
Read
on for details and further information on these contests and available proxy services.
In
virtually all contests 'in person' submissions are required. A contestant who is
not able to be able to enter his/her selections in person is able to designate a
specific person as a proxy who is authorized to submit the weekly selections for
that contestant.
Some contestants may have their entries registered by a friend
or relative who lives in or is visiting Las Vegas -- but note that the Official Contestant
is the person who signs up for the contest. If that person is not able to submit
selections in person as well he or she will need a Proxy to submit selections on
their behalf.
(2) The Proxy & the Services
He Provides
Since moving to Las Vegas in 1991
Andy Iskoe of Logical Approach (www.thelogicalapproach.com) has entered many of the
football contests offered and sponsored by the Sports Books in Las Vegas.
In
fact, in 2026 he will be in Westgate Super Contest for a 36th consecutive season!
In
addition to having had success as a contestant in most of these contests over the
years, he has also been a Proxy for contestants who live out of town and are not
able to make the weekly selections in person at the various Sports Books, most notably
for the Super Contest for which he has proxied for more than 20 years and the Circa
Millions/Circa Survivor Contests (since their inception in 2019 and 2020, respectively).
Due
to the popularity of these contests both the Westgate and Circa have added additional
contests over the years such that in 2026 the Westgate is offering a total of 4 contests
and the Circa will offer 3 contests, the details, highlights and Official Rules are
discussed below.
It was his participation in the SuperContest throughout the
1990's and into the early 2000's and his long running role as a co-host of the Saturday
night edition of the Stardust Line Radio Show from Las Vegas that got Andy involved
as a Proxy for non-Las Vegas residents who listened each week during the football
season as Andy shared his experiences in the SuperContest, sharing his results from
the prior week, his selections for the current week and his progress throughout the
season that caught the attention of listeners to the show as to how they might participate
in the SuperContest even though they did not live in Las Vegas or visit Las Vegas
on a weekly basis. Mostly these were listeners on the West Coast from Washington
down through California and in Arizona. In addition, subscribers to his "Logical
Approach College & Pro Football Newsletter" were also interested in participating.
In response to those inquiries his answer was simple. Visit Las Vegas to sign up
for the contest and have someone turn in your weekly picks if you were unable to
put them in yourself. And that's how he got started offering his Proxy service.
Back
"in the day" the contest, from its inception in 1988 through much of the
next two decades, attracted generally between 250 and 500 contestants and was pretty
much considered a "locals" contest but for the relatively small number
of out-of-area contestants.
That all changed after 2010 when ESPN began to
report on the contest throughout the 2010 season, generating much publicity for the
SuperContest and widespread interest in participating in the following season's SuperContest
-- both nationally and internationally. Since then the Proxy service business has
developed into somewhat of a cottage industry, fueled by that extensive coverage
given to the SuperContest beginning in 2010 by the folks at ESPN.
Participation
in the SuperContest set another record in both 2018 (up nearly 14% over 2017) and
again in 2019 (up just 6.6% as growth rate decreased significantly due to the introduction
of the new Circa Millions contest (which was virtually identical in format to the
SuperContest but carried 'only' a $1,000 entry fee as compared to $1,500 for the
SuperContest.
Then came the Covid-19 season of 2020 which saw the first decline
in SuperContest entries in more than a decade (fueled both the the Covid-19 pandemic
AND the increased popularity of the Circa Contest combined with the introduction
of the Circa Survivor contest).
The growth of the popularity of the SuperContest,
as measured by growth in participation, is as follows, beginning with the 2010 Contest,
through its peak season of 2019 when the Circa provided major competition to the
SuperContest with it's introduction of a similar styled contest that not only carried
a Guaranteed Prize Pool but also paid 100 places with a First Place Prize of $ 1,000,000.
2010
-- 345 Entries 2011 -- 517 Entries 2012 -- 745 Entries 2013 -- 1,034 Entries 2014
-- 1,403 Entries 2015 -- 1,727 Entries 2016 -- 1,854 Entries 2017 -- 2,748
Entries 2018 -- 3,123 Entries 2019 -- 3,328 Entries -- All Time SuperContest
Entries Record coinciding with Circa Millions contest introduced 2020 -- 1,172
Entries -- Continued decline due partly to Circa competition and largely due to Covid-19
In
2026 Andy is again offering his services as a Proxy for contestants who are unable
to submit selections in person but are able to be in Las Vegas (or have a friend,
family member, etc.) be in Las Vegas to sign up for the Contest(s).
The keys
to an effective Proxy/Contestant relationship are organization, communication and
clarity.
Over the years Andy has developed an organized, structured and sensible
system for disseminating and receiving contest selection information with the contestants
for whom he has served as Proxy. Details of that system are explained below, both
before and after the descriptions of the major football contests for which he shall
be proxying in 2026.
The Proxy procedure is similar for all contests with
minor variations due to time and/or deadline variations that will vary according
to the specific contest.
Using the Westgate NFL Super Contest as an example,
emails are sent on Wednesday evenings by Andy to the contestants for whom he is a
Proxy. The email will contain information related to the contest lines for the upcoming
week's games (to be released by 5 PM Pacific time Wednesdays in 2026), expected to
include links to contestants' results for the previous week, season-to-date results
and the overall standings for all contestants (including information on the status
of the contestants currently in "cashing" position -- for 2026 the Top
20 and ties).
The contestant is then responsible for providing Andy with his/her
5 contest selections by email no later than 3 PM Pacific Time on Saturdays (or at
a later time as mutually agreed upon) so that the selections may be submitted to
the Westgate safely in advance of the Westgate's official Saturday deadline (that
is strictly enforced).
If the contestant is using the Thursday game(s) the
selections should be received by Andy by Noon Pacific time on Thursday with all 5
selections required to be submitted at the same time (for this reason the Thursday
game is usually the least played game each week).
Different deadlines would
apply during the season depending on the schedule for a particular week (such as
Wednesday, Thursday, Friday or Saturday games).
The Fee charged for the Proxy
Service is agreed upon with each contestant and may be based upon the specific contest
or combination of contests entered, the number of entries, the complexities of "administering"
your weekly entries/selections, and other factors. The Fee is generally a flat, up
front one time fee with no requirement to share a percentage of any winnings earned
by the contestant.
If you have any questions or would like to discuss using Andy Iskoe as your Proxy
please either call him at 702 - 898 - 9802 or contact him via email at vegasandy711@cox.net

the course of the contest gets the first place prize. There is a tie breaker format
for FIRST PLACE ONLY (See Rule 16). The pointspread is a "static" pointspread
as established by the Westgate on Wednesdays and thus does not change even though
the actual betting lines on the games may change during the week. The lines are generally
available around 5 PM Pacific time on Wednesdays at the Westgate and on their website
and mobile app. Note that contestants may not submit opposite sides of the same game
as 2 of their 5 selections on the same Entry. If a contestant has 2 (or more ) entries
he/she can use one side of the game on one Entry and the other side of the same game
on another Entry. ONCE SUBMITTED THE ENTRIES MAY NOT BE REVISED

AUTHORIZATION OF PROXY -- A contestant
may utilize the services of a Proxy to submit the weekly selections. Both the entrant
and the Proxy must appear in person at the time of registration at which time the
entrant will authorize the Proxy to submit the weekly selections on the Contest Registration
form. The authorization of a Proxy has no impact on the payment of any prize money
as the Entrant is the ONLY PERSON to whom the Westgate will make payment although
the Entrant may request separate payments to be made once the results are official
(i.e. in the case of multiple people sharing in an entry)
METHOD/FORM OF PAYMENT
-- Payment of the Entry Fee may be in the form of cash, cashiers check, money order,
Westgate Las Vegas Resort live gaming chips and credit/debit card. ***** NOTE
-- Credit/Debit Cards are subject to a 3% surcharge ***** ALSO NOTE that personal
checks are not accepted.
PAYOUT (Rules 16, 37) -- 100% of Entry Fees (no
"rake") will be paid. The total prize pool will be allocated amongst the

full-season contest will be paid to the Top 20 Finishers (and ties) ranging from
42% for First Place to 1.00% for those finishing alone or tied for 20th. Tie breakers
are in place to determine First Place only. All other ties split the tied places'
prize money equally. See Rules 16 and 37 for the prize structure for the full season
and in-season contests.
WEEKLY SELECTION SUBMISSION DEADLINE (Rule 12) --
Saturday 5:00 PM Pacific Time. All selections are submitted at the same time and,
once submitted, may not be changed. If a contestant chooses to use a Thursday game
all 5 selections must be submitted prior to the start of that Thursday game. -- EXTREMELY
IMPORTANT == The Official Rules (#12) clearly emphasize that the submission deadline
will be strictly enforced. As a result, as a Proxy, Andy generally uses a deadline
to receive clients' selections several hours prior to the absolute 'drop dead' deadline
to make sure the selections are submitted well in advance of that absolute deadline.
SELECTION
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS (Rules 10 and 11) -- Contestant must submit entries in person
or via a Proxy who has been registered by the Contestant with the Westgate Race &
Sports Book. Contestants and their Proxy will be issued a Contest Card. The Card
will be needed to enter the weekly selections at an electronic kiosk located in the
Race & Sports Book. Once an entry is submitted into the computer system it cannot

(5) 2026 Westgate SuperContest
GOLD
The following are highlights of the key Rules for the 2026 Super Contest
GOLD
The Rules for the SuperContest
Gold are essentially the same as for the "classic" SuperContest. The main
difference is that there is just ONE WINNER -- the entry that accumulates the most
points over the course of the contest with 1 points awarded for a winning selections
and 1/2 point awarded for a pointspread push.

5 NFL games each week against the pointspread for 18 weeks. Sides only. No Totals.

and 0 points for a pointspread loss. The entry that accumulates the most points over
the course of the contest gets the "winner take all" prize. The pointspread
is a "static" pointspread as established by the Westgate on Wednesdays
and thus does not change even though the actual betting lines on the games may change
during the week. The lines are generally available around 5 PM Pacific time on Wednesdays

will be paid. This is a "Winner Take All" contest
WEEKLY SELECTION
SUBMISSION DEADLINE (Rule 12) -- Saturday 5:00 PM Pacific Time. All selections are
submitted at the same time and, once submitted, may not be changed. If a contestant
chooses to use a Thursday game all 5 selections must be submitted prior to the start
of that Thursday game. -- EXTREMELY IMPORTANT == The Official Rules (#12) clearly

SELECTION SUBMISSION
REQUIREMENTS (Rules 10 and 11) -- Contestant must submit entries in person or via
a Proxy who has been registered by the Contestant with the Westgate Race & Sports
Book. Contestants and their Proxy will be issued a Contest Card. The Card will be
needed to enter the weekly selections at an electronic kiosk located in the Race

mobile app BUT that mobile must be located within the borders of Nevada to be able
to submit the selections (i.e. the need for a proxy if contestant is not in Nevada
when selections are to be submitted)
CONTESTANT IDENTIFICATION (Rule 5) --
Contestants may use an alias (approved by management) to identify his/her selections
and standings as published throughout the contest period. Aliases are limited to
20 characters with no commas allowed.
The premise of this contest is simple and straightforward -- Pick 1 NFL team
to win its game each week and your entry advances to the next week. If your team
loses OR TIES that entry is eliminated. Although the premise is simple the execution
is not quite as simple as there are many upsets throughout the NFL Regular season
that often can eliminate 20% or of the remaining field in a given week depending
on the upsets and which 'favored team' was heavily selected.
This contest
was introduced in 2025 to somewhat compete with the increasingly popular Circa Survivor.
The rules are very similar with ONE KEY EXCEPTION -- Unlike Circa the Westgate Survivor
contest DOES NOT split either Thanksgiving Week nor Christmas Week into 2 separate
legs. Thus this contest runs a maximum of just the 18 NFL regular season weeks (unlike
the 20 week maximum for the Circa Survivor contests).
Highlights of the Westgate
SuperContest Survivor --
1 -- Entry fee is $5,000 with a maximum of 10 entries
per person. Registration closes 3 PM Pacific time on September 12, 2026. Note that
you can re-buy additional entries if an entry loses the opening Wednesday night and/or
Thursday night game (September 9 & 10) but you can have no more than 10 active
entries at the time registration closes.
2 -- The contest involves picking
1 NFL team per entry per week to win its game STRAIGHT UP (no pointspreads) and if
your team wins the entry advances to the next week. If your team LOSES or TIES that
entry is eliminated. You can use a team ONLY ONCE during the season per entry. If
you have multiple entries a team can be used only once on each of the entries. For
example, if you have 3 entries you can use Buffalo once on each of the 3 entries
and Buffalo can be used in any week the entry remains alive. (It's obvious but I'll
state it anyway -- this is another way of saying each of your entries is independent
of one another and the same team does not have to be used on each of your entries
in a given week although there is no rule against doing so. Similarly, you can select
Team A on 1 of your entries and its opponent -- Team B -- on another of your entries
if you so choose.
3 -- The contest is won when only 1 entry remains alive
at the conclusion of a given week. If there are multiple entries alive at the start
of the week and all are eliminated that week the contest ends and the multiple entries
that started the week alive will split the full prize pool evenly. If there is more
than 1 entry alive at the end of the regular season those who have thus had 'perfect'
seasons will split the entire prize pool evenly. If at the end of a given week --
say, for example Week 13 -- there is only 1 entry still alive the contest ends and
that single entry wins the entire pool.
4 -- Unlike the Circa Survivor there
is no guaranteed minimum payout but 100% of the entry fees will be paid to the contestant
or contestants who have entries remaining at the end of the 18 weeks or at the end
of any regular season week when all live entrants at the start of that week are eliminated
in that week (thus it's a full 100% payback with 'no rake.)'
5 -- As noted
above there are no 'split weeks' as there are in Circa Survivor. This contest can
last a maximum of the full 18 week regular season.
6 -- Selections must be
submitted by 5 PM Pacific time on Saturday for most weeks with a few 'exceptions.'
Selections for games that start prior to 5 PM Pacific time on Saturdays MUST be submitted
prior to the kickoff of your chosen game. For most weeks that means Wednesday of
Week 1 and most Thursday night or Friday night or early starting Saturday games (late
in the season usually).
The Rules for the SuperContest College Football are largely in line with those
for the "classic" SuperContest except that this contest deals with college
football rather than the NFL. This contest was first introduced in 2025 and met with
great success, attracting just over 1,000 entries. As with the SuperContest Classic
the entry that accumulates the most points over the course of the contest gets the
First Place prize. Entries get 1 point for a winning selection, 1/2 point for a pointspread
push and 0 points for a pointspread loss.
FORMAT -- Contestants select 7 College
football selections each week against the pointspread for 13 weeks. Sides only. No
Totals. In general almost all games on the betting board are eligible with few exceptions,
generally games played on Tuesdays or Wednesdays as contest lines are generally posted
on Wednesdays around 5 PM Pacific time. Contestants earn 1 point for a pointspread
win, 1/2 point for a pointspread push and 0 points for a pointspread loss. The entry
that accumulates the most points over the course of the contest gets the First Place
prize. The pointspread is a "static" pointspread as established by the
Westgate on Wednesdays and thus does not change even though the actual betting lines
on the games may change during the week. The lines are generally available around
5 PM Pacific time on Wednesdays at the Westgate and on their website and mobile app.
Note that contestants may not submit opposite sides of the same game as 2 of their
7 selections on the same Entry. If a contestant has 2 (or more) entries he/she can
use one side of the game on one Entry and the other side of that same game on another
Entry. ONCE SUBMITTED THE ENTRIES MAY NOT BE REVISED.
ENTRY FEE, MAXIMUM #
OF ENTRIES & DEADLINE -- $ 500.oo per entry with a maximum of 10 entries allowed
per contestant. Entrants (and Proxies, if any) must be 21 years of age, with valid
ID proof of age required. Contestant must also have a "Players Card" which
is free. Deadline to enter the Contest is 3 PM Pacific time on Friday, September
4, 2026.
AUTHORIZATION OF PROXY -- A contestant may utilize the services
of a Proxy to submit the weekly selections. Both the entrant and the Proxy must appear
in person at the time of registration at which time the entrant will authorize the
Proxy to submit the weekly selections on the Contest Registration form. The authorization
of a Proxy has no impact on the payment of any prize money as the Entrant is the
ONLY PERSON to whom the Westgate will make payment although the Entrant may request
separate payments to be made once the results are official (i.e. in the case, for
example, of multiple people sharing in an entry)
METHOD/FORM OF ENTRY PAYMENT
-- Payment of the Entry Fee may be in the form of cash, cashiers check, money order,
Westgate Las Vegas Resort live gaming chips and credit/debit card. ***** NOTE
-- Credit/Debit Cards are subject to a 3% surcharge ***** ALSO NOTE that personal
checks are not accepted.
PAYOUT -- 100% of Entry Fees (no "rake")
will be paid. The 10 leaders at the end of the 13 week contest (plus ties) will collect
various percentages of the total prize pool, ranging from 40% for 1st place down
to 1% for 10th place. There are no tie breakers and the prizes for tied contestants
will be split evenly. For example, assuming a total prize pool of $500,000 (1,000
entries) if 2 entries are tied for most contest points the those contestants would
split evenly the first place prize of $200,000 (40%) and 2nd place prize of $100,000
(20%) with each receiving $150,000. If there is just one contestant with the second
highest points total that person will receive the 3rd place prize of $75,000 (15%)
and so forth.
WEEKLY SELECTION SUBMISSION DEADLINE (Rule 12) -- Friday 5:00
PM Pacific Time. All selections are submitted at the same time and, once submitted,
may not be changed. If a contestant chooses to use a Thursday game all 5 selections
must be submitted prior to the start of that Thursday game. == EXTREMELY IMPORTANT
== The Official Rules (#12) clearly emphasize that the submission deadline will
be strictly enforced. As a result, as a Proxy, Andy generally uses a deadline
to receive clients' selections several hours prior to the absolute 'drop dead' deadline
to make sure the selections are submitted well in advance of that absolute deadline.
SELECTION
SUBMISSION Highlights (Rules 10 and 11) -- Contestant must submit entries in person
or via a Proxy who has been registered by the Contestant with the Westgate Race &
Sports Book. Contestants and their Proxy will be issued a Contest Card. The Card
will be needed to enter the weekly selections at an electronic kiosk located in the
Race & Sports Book. Once an entry is submitted into the computer system it cannot
be voided or revised. Selections may also be submitted using the Westgate SuperBook
mobile app BUT that mobile must be located within the borders of Nevada to be able
to submit the selections (i.e. the need for a proxy if contestant is not in Nevada
when selections are to be submitted)
CONTESTANT IDENTIFICATION (Rule 5) --
Contestants may use an alias (approved by management) to identify his/her selections
and standings as published throughout the contest period. Aliases are limited to
20 characters with no commas or hyphens allowed.
This contest is very similar to the long-running Westgate SuperContest. The Contest
requires picking 5 NFL games per week for the entirety of the NFL regular season,
resulting in a total of 90 selections. All of a given week's games are available
for use in the contest and the contest lines remain static even though the actual
betting lines may change. The top 100 finishers will cash with the winner earning
$1,000,000. A total prize pool of $6,000,000 is guaranteed and the prize pool includes
payouts for the contestant(s) with the best record during each of four stages during
the season as noted below. In order to meet the guaranteed prize pool a total of
6,000 entries are required and if there are more than 6,000 entrants 50% of the additional
entry fees will go towards the payouts for the 1st place prize in each of the four
"quarterly" in season contests and 50% will go towards places 1-100 in
the Main Contest.
Highlights of the Circa Millions VIII Pro Football Contest
include --
1 -- Contestant must be 21 years of age and have a "Club One"
Card (issued at no cost) available at the Circa or at one of the Circa satellite
properties that host Circa sports books (the "D" Casino, Tuscany or Silverton
casinos in Las Vegas or the Legends Bay in northern Nevada)
2 -- $ 1,000.oo
Entry Fee with a maximum of 10 entries per person allowed.
3 -- Deadline to
enter is 2 PM Pacific time on Saturday, September 12, 2026.
4 -- Pick 5 NFL
games each week against a static contest pointspread. One point is awarded for a
pointspread win, half a point for a pointspread push and no points for a pointspread
loss.
5 -- Contest pointspreads will generally be available on Thursday mornings
at 10 AM Pacific time. Selections must be submitted by 4 PM Pacific time on Saturdays
and all 5 selections must be submitted at the same time and cannot be voided or changed
once submitted.
6 -- Contestants may authorize up to three (s) Proxies to
submit selections on their behalf. Authorization must be made at the time of contest
registration.
7 -- The contest pays $1,000,000 to the winner with a tie breaker
in effect only to determine first place. Those who finish in second through 100th
(plus ties) will also collect a cash prize ranging from $500,000 for second to $2,000
for 100 with contestants who tie for positions 2 through 100 splitting the prize
for the respective tied positions.
8 -- There are four $ 300,000 in Quarterly
Bonus Prizes awarded to the contestant(s) who accumulate the most points in Weeks
1 through 4, 5 through 9, 10 through 13 and 14 through 18. In addition there are
Full Season and Quarterly "Booby Prizes" for the contestants who finish
with the worst record and second worst record for the respective period.
9
-- The prize pool is guaranteed to be at least $6,000,000 and distributed as described
in items (7) and (8). Should the contest attract more than 6,000 entries, thereby
increasing the prize pool above the guaranteed $6.0 million, the extra monies will
be equally added to full season contest and to the four quarterly prizes (See Rule
14 for details)..
10. For a detailed breakdown of the entire prize structure
please see OFFICIAL RULE 14 (lengthy but complete).
Highlights of
the Circa Survivor VII Pro Football Contest include --
1 -- Entry fee is $1,000
with a maximum of 10 entries per person. Registration closes 2 PM Pacific time on
September 12, 2026. Note that you can re-buy additional entries if an entry loses
the opening Wednesday night or Thursday night game (September 9 & 10) but you
can have no more than 10 active entries at the time registration closes.
2
-- The contest involves picking 1 NFL team per entry per week to win its game STRAIGHT
UP (no pointspreads) and if your team wins the entry advances to the next week. If
your team LOSES or TIES that entry is eliminated. You can use a team ONLY ONCE during
the season per entry. If you have multiple entries a team can be used only once on
each of the entries. For example, if you have 3 entries you can use Buffalo once
on each of the 3 entries and Buffalo can be used in any week the entry remains alive.
(It's obvious but I'll state it anyway -- this is another way of saying each of your
entries is independent of one another and the same team does not have to be used
on each of your entries in a given week although there is no rule against doing so.
Similarly, you can select Team A on 1 of your entries and its opponent -- Team B
-- on another of your entries if you so choose.
3 -- The contest is won when
only 1 entry remains alive at the conclusion of a given week. If there are multiple
entries alive at the start of the week and all are eliminated that week the contest
ends and the multiple entries that started the week alive will split the full prize
pool evenly. If there is more than 1 entry alive at the end of the regular season
those who have thus had 'perfect' seasons will split the entire prize pool evenly.
If at the end of a given week -- say, for example Week 13 -- there is only 1 entry
still alive the contest ends and that single entry wins the entire pool.
4
-- The Circa guarantees a prize pool of $20,000,000 which means the Circa needs 20,000
entries to fully fund the prize pool. Should the number of entries fall short of
20,000 the Circa will fund the remaining amount necessary to bring the prize pool
up to $20,000,000. If there are more than 20,000 entries 100% of the funds from those
extra entries are added to the guaranteed amount (thus it's a full 100% payback with
'no rake.)'
5 -- The first 6 seasons of the contest has never produced an
'in season' end to the contest and that have always been more than 1 entry sharing
the prize pool after having picked winners every week. In order to enhance the possibility
(though not necessarily the probability by any significant degree) the Circa has
added additional twists to the contest in recent seasons. Although the basic rules
remain the same although the NFL regular season consists of 18 weeks the Survivor
Contest consists of 20 weeks, as explained next.
6 -- In order to extend the
contest from 18 to 20 weeks Circa has split Thanksgiving Week and Christmas Weeks
into two separate weeks -- call them 'A' and 'B'. This season Thanksgiving Week is
NFL Week 12 and Christmas Week is NFL Week 16. Thanksgiving Week Part A consists
of the 1 Wednesday game, the 3 Thanksgiving Day games and the lone Black Friday game.
This means a total of 10 teams will be in action in the first part of Week 12 so
you must be sure to have at least 1 of the 10 teams in action in order for your entry
to not be eliminated for lack of available teams. Most entries try to have between
4 and 6 teams available when the previous week (Week 11) ends. If your team wins
in Part A your entry advances and you will have to submit another pick that week
for Part B which consists of the 22 teams that will play on the Sunday and Monday
after Thanksgiving. A similar procedure will occur for Christmas Week (NFL Week 16).
There are 4 games on Part A (December 24 & 25) and 12 games on Sunday/Monday
(December 27 & 28). The NFL has announced they plan to have a doubleheader on
Saturday, December 26 and will announce the games no later than Week 14. It appears
certain --based on the rules -- that those 2 games will remain in the Part B leg
of Christmas Week.
7 -- The 10 teams playing in Part A of Thanksgiving Week
are Green Bay at L A Rams, Chicago at Detroit, Philadelphia at Dallas, Kansas City
at Buffalo and Denver at Pittsburgh.
8-- The 8 teams playing in Part A of
Christmas Week are Houston at Philadelphia, Green Bay at Chicago, Buffalo at Denver
and L A Rams at Seattle.
9 -- Items 7 and 8, above, show that 6 of the 10
teams that play in Part A of Thanksgiving Week ALSO play in Part A of Christmas Week
-- Green Bay, L A Rams, Chicago, Philadelphia, Buffalo and Denver.
10 -- Selections
must be submitted by 4 PM Pacific time Saturdays for most weeks with a few 'exceptions.'
Selections for games that start prior to 4 PM Pacific time on Saturdays MUST be submitted
prior to the kickoff of your chosen game. For most weeks that means Wednesday of
Week 1 and most Thursday night games. For Thanksgiving Week Part A your selection
must be submitted no later than 4 PM Pacific time on Wednesday, November 25 and for
Christmas Week Part A your selection must be submitted no later than 4 PM Pacific
time on Thursday, December 24.
This contest is virtually identical to the above describer Circa Survivor with
a few notable exceptions.
Highlights of the Circa Grandissimo (Survivor) Pro
Football Contest include --
1 -- Entry fee is $100,000 with a maximum of 2
entries per person. Registration closes 2 PM Pacific time on September 12, 2026.
Note that you can re-buy additional entries if an entry loses the opening Wednesday

pool. Should the number of entries fall short of 4,000 the Circa will fund the remaining
amount necessary to bring the prize pool up to $4,000,000. If there are more than

(11) The Proxy & the Services
