Read on for details on
each.
For the 2009 football season we
will again be offering a single Late Premium Selection Service that features our
best, top rated releases in college and pro football each week. Our expertise historically
has been in the NFL but the past few seasons have also seen phenomenal success in
college football as well. Although we generally get off to a good start early in
the season, especially in handicapping Overs and Unders, we consistently hit our
stride over the second half of the season which explains why Logical Approach's founder,
Andrew Iskoe, has had several Top Ten finishes in the prestigious Las Vegas Hilton
SuperContest -- including the 2008 season -- since moving to Las Vegas in 1991 and
why he has also had several of TOP 3 FINISHES in season-long football contests in
addition to numerous impressive accomplishments as described above.
Although
our College & Pro Football Newsletter Selections have consistently been winners
and will serve the needs of most small to moderate players, Newsletters by themselves
have limitations in that they can only assess a limited amount of information prior
to publication on Sunday evenings/Monday mornings. Our Late Premium Selection Service
(also known in the past as a Late Telephone Service) builds upon the foundation laid
by the College & Pro Football Newsletter by looking deeper into each college
and pro matchup, digging into more of the statistics that are not available until
mid week, and makes use of historical models that build upon data already accumulated
during the current and prior seasons. Of course, a major benefit of the Late Premium
Selection Service is that the selections are able to consider injuries, other personnel
moves that occur during the week and, perhaps most importantly, adjustments to the
Opening Line which can often increase or decrease the attractiveness of a Newsletter
Selection depending upon the direction and magnitude of the move or can turn Newsletter
Opinions or Leanings into more strongly valued recommendations. Unlike most handicapping
services on the market at Logical Approach we have just one and only one Service
and we do not have a 900 number. All clients of the Late Premium Selection Service
receive the same, identical selections. The Service runs through all post season
College Bowls, the NFL Playoffs and the Super Bowl. There is only a one time fee
when you initially subscribe. We do not ask you for any additional fees to take advantage
of any special promotions such as Thanksgiving Weekend, Homecoming Games, Conference
or Other Games or the Year, etc. Although we may make such offers to the public at
large, any such selections are included in the Late Premium Selection Service. This
is a single complete package that also has one additional benefit not offered by
most other handicapping service -- the ability to have personal consultations during
the season. Whether you have questions on the games we recommend, or questions on
other games of interest to you, or questions on handicapping in general, as a subscriber
to the Late Premium Selection Service you are entitled to telephone or e-mail Andrew
Iskoe with your question and you will receive a prompt response by email, Instant
Messaging online or by telephone (or a mutually agreeable time to continue the conversation
will be set). This benefit alone can be well worth several times the cost of the
Service and makes Logical Approach rather unique in the Sports Advisory industry.
In 2002 our NFL Side Selections were 55-32-1 (63%) from week one of the regular season
through the Super Bowl! The 2001 season produced steady profits from the first weekend
of the season back in August all the way through the NFL Playoffs with the top rated
Double Play selections hitting a solid and consistent 60%. During the 2000 season
was somewhat unusual in that the college selections outperformed the pro selections
although the pro side selections went a solid 20-8 over the second half of the season.
Unlike the majority of sports
services we have one, and only one, Premium Selection Service.
We do not
have various clubs or Special Games of the Year for which you pay extra. If we do
have promotions such as Special Games or Thanksgiving Weekend Specials those selections
are all included in your Premium Selection Package and any games we may offer to
the public at large as "Games of the Year" are included in the full season
package and are identified to you as such whenever they might occur. Full season
(or balance-of-season) subscribers pay just one fee for the entire season and receive
each and every selection we release as a recommended play.
Full season subscribers
receive an Access Code that they can use to get the Selections on our Website.
Selections
will be released throughout the week by being posted on our website, occasionally
as early as Monday when the lines are first available, and will be completely finalized
by 4 PM Fridays, Pacific time at which time they will be available by email, website
posting and telephone.
This weekly publication contains
our top early selections with write ups and analyses on our top Games of the Week,
one college and one pro, plus write ups and analyses on three more college and three
more pro 'Featured' games, and also selections on what we call the 'Best of the Rest'
plus leanings on 'the Rest' of the games on that week's schedule.
Although
the selections are based upon our early analysis of the upcoming week's schedule
and are subject to be modified for Late Premium Selection Service clients, the top
selections are designed to stand on their own and 2000's 18-2 ATS run over the last
five weeks of the NFL regular season capped an outstanding season which was followed
by another solid season in 2001 capped by a remarkable run in the post-season, especially
in our College Bowl Over/Unders.
2002 was another profitable season for our
Top and Featured Selections and our NFL post-season posted a strong 14-8 (64%) record
picking both a Side and Total in every NFL Playoff game. 2003 also had its share
of successes including a nice profit on the weekly NFL Top Game of the Week.
2004's
Highlight was our amazing 77-45-4 record in NFL Totals -- that's over 63% picking
nearly half of all games played!
2005's Newsletter highlights included our
20-11-1 (64.5%) record in our Top College & Pro Selections of hte week. Overall
our 31-22-1 record in Top & Featured College Selections and our 37-29-2 record
in Top & Featured NFL Selections provided plenty of regular season profits.
In
2006 the Colleges continued the sensational run. The top rated Play of the Week went
an astounding 11-3 ATS (79%). Combined with our 3 weekly Featured Selections that
went 26-10-4 ATS (72%) our overall record during college football's regular season
was a phenomenal 37-13-4 (74%) ATS. In 2007 the Top Weekly College Selection were
an outstanding 9-1-4 (90%) ATS. And in 2008 our Top NFL Game of the Week Selection
was 12-5 (70.6 %) ATS.
The Newsletter selections do form the foundation
for our Late Premium Selection Service. We often include special studies and current
developments and frequently inform our readers of the many new research findings
we uncover each season.
The Newsletter also has a Spreadsheet containing unique
and valuable data to assist you in evaluating all the games and is available separately
on this website, offerred FREE to both subscribers and non-subscribers.
If
you are content to focus on just a handful of solid recommendations each week, our
College & Pro Football Newsletter will be your BEST BET this season!

Devoted entirely to NFL Teasers,
in each issue we present and rank the teams showing the strongest likelihood of covering
as part of a two team, 6 point Teaser, along with recommendations as to how you might
play them (round robins, keys, etc.). Season to date statistics plus a weekly educational/informative
feature (i.e. current season Teaser results, Sunday Night/Monday night hedging strategy,
six season team recaps) supplement the selections to give you a full appreciation
of what may be the best bet in football.
We first published our Teaser Newsletter
in 1988 and have had great success in beating Teasers -- one of the most misunderstood
of wagers but also one of the most profitable ones as well. Sports books have increasingly
had to change the payouts on Teasers because of the great success the players have
had in beating them -- many by using our Newsletter!
Since 1988 we have
recommended nearly 1,900 teams and over 70% of these teams have been successful in
two team, 6 point Teasers.

Drawn from the three Volumes of
our 2009 Pointspread Encyclopedia, this weekly sheet presents the strongest plays
according to the trends applicable that week.
All college and pro lines games
are rated from a low of 1 to a high of 5 Star Selections.
In the NFL Over/Unders
are also rated and we indicate games for which there are No Selections because there
are no historical trend or tendency advantages.
This is a bare boned Newsletter
that does not bore you with the specific trends and situations behind the selections
(they can be found in the Pointspread Encyclopedia itself) but, unlike many other
Trends-based Newsletters or services, our Selections consider the totality of the
teams' current situations and do not focus in on or rely upon just one or a few high
percentage, but isolated, trends.
All
Newsletter and Full Season Premium Selection Subscriptions cover the regular season,
the college Bowls and the NFL Playoffs, except for the NFL Teaser Newsletter which
is only published during the regular season and does not cover the colleges or the
