The final week of the regular
season (the final week of selections for this Newsletter) produced outstanding results
as 8 of the 9 teams that qualified for Teaser play as Marginal or better came through,
including our lone Excellent team, Indianapolis. 4 of the 5 Very Good teams were
also successful in Teaser play as Chicago, Baltimore, San Diego and Green Bay came
through while just Washington came up short. All 3 of the Marginal teams were Teaser
winners as San Francisco, New England and Atlanta each came through to cap off a
strong final week and another outstanding season of Teaser selections.
This is our final Issue
of the NFL Teaser Newsletter for the 2011 season, presenting the above wrap up of
the 2011 season and also including a summary of Teaser results for each team, for
both the 2011 season and for the 3 seasons of 2009 through 2011 (48 games per team).
You might wish to put this
issue aside and refer to it as a starting point for the 2012 season. Expanded
detail on a team by team, season by season basis for the 6 seasons of 2006 through
2011 will be contained in Volume 2 of the 2012 Pointspread Encyclopedia (NFL Teasers
& Totals) which we expect to publish in early spring.
Here, then, are the 6 point
Teaser records for each of the 32 NFL teams for the 2011 season, the 3 seasons of
2009 through 2011 and the 6 seasons of 2006 through 2011.
